Omega Squad

Rito nos tiene expectantes con un nuevo set de skins y contenido legaly al parecer dirigido por nada más y nada menos que por Teemo.

I remember over a year ago I started ranking without the champs, experience or general basic knowledge to do so... But I knew one thing, Nautilus was the perfect supp once I landed in bronze 5 and I did my best to main him despite I kept losing and getting lost while trying to figure out how to carry a match or what was best in different situations.

Today I use him but not that much as it's no longer a surprise, it's mainstream. In the old days it was just considered a troll pick, the ap wasn't supposed to be used with him and you were just a noob playing a supp role you didn't want to... The irony at its peak.

Now you get to see him in Pro leagues, specially in NA as it was the week's revelation despite that in Asia they discovered him a long time ago along with Katarina, Hecarim, Veigar and many other champs. And my point is going there now.

What League of Legends players lack in general is imagination and out of the box way of thinking... That's the big lackluster in general in the Western World and that is one of the reasons asians are in a completely different league than the rest of us mortals.

Pro Teams eventually hire them like it's happening now but not adapting their respective teams to their creative way of doing things and you end up watching Piglet and Impact getting thrashed like noobs in every game.

Mid table teams like C9, UOL and Gravitas are noticing that without imagination you can't keep competing for the long term. You need to leave the "meta" and reimagine it, rebuild it, transform it, create it. That's how mages appeared in top, that's how new supps appeared in the bottom lane, that's how the jungle could be cleared by surprise picks.

You change the game, the game doesn't change you.

Chicas en League of Legends y "Chicas"

Con ya más de treinta años jugar un juego online hace que no aprenda cosas nuevas sobre la sociabilización de las personas y sus conductas. Una particular me ha llamado mucho la atención y es un derivado de lo que usualmente empezó a suceder con el auge de los chat rooms en otras épocas, la usurpación de identidad y pretender ser del sexo opuesto.

Claramente en el juego no es el sexo el foco sino el obtener beneficios de una minoría en detrimento de una mayoría deseosa de tener mayor participación femenina o satisfacer hormonas. Es una práctica tan habitual que es casi imposible discernir quién es realmente una mujer y quién un pibe que busca skins gratis para no pagar un par de dólares.

Este tipo de conducta no es nueva y ya es moneda corriente, muchos ya se avivaron pero son cada vez más los que hacen uso de esta práctica. Algo preocupante dado que es la misma utilizada en la trata de personas un tema realmente serio y preocupante.

Uno puede bromear y reírse de cómo han conseguido un skin gratis haciéndose pasar por una chica pero también es preocuparse de cómo las personas pueden ser manipuladas y utilizadas para distintos fines ocultando la identidad online a través de distintos recursos para la explotación de las personas.

Espero que los lectores tengan mucha más conciencia en torno a sus prácticas como también a lo que pueden encontrarse en el mar de internet.

Tomar precauciones, evitar entrar en juegos de flirteo anónimos y donde, además, se demandan cosas y acciones al otro. Resguardarse y denunciar estas prácticas es necesario para promover un ambiente más sano y seguro para todos.

Buen día gente!

Sé que están expectantes de cómo salir del elo hell y mejorar su rendimiento así que les dejo una tabla de runas para que vean cómo buildearse acorde a su juego.

Elo Hell

We are all aware that there's a special place for all of those who are still learning how to play or do it casually, it's a special place where you can encounter both heaven and hell as there's no balance and everybody is ready for the kill.

Forget about wards, mias, objectives and farming... Here it's all in or nothing (meaning afk or trolling most likely).

I've posted a guide in spanish about what are the basic things to take into consideration and how to improve one's gaming but that it's not all... You'll need patience by the tons. In the coming days I'll be posting more detailed info from various resources to come up with a resume and a general view around this. Stay tuned!

Novedades del PBE!

Buenas loleros! En el PBE ya estan disponibles los Skins de Amumu Surprice Party, Urf the Nami-tee, Archduke Nasus, Order of the Banana Soraka, Definitely not Udyr y Debonair Galio ademas ya han comenzado a requilibrar texturas como la de Myrmidon Pantheon.
